Kubin and others
You could well get an overdose: at the Neue Galerie, an immense cornucopia of over-the-top stuff collected by Ronald Lauder, and not just the Adele Bloch-Bauer hanging there for a while... Lots of this and that, some lovely Seurat drawings, two really sunny Klee, lots of the Schiele we are used to there, and some Cezannes and Picasso and those lesser-known painters. I am particularly fond of Kubin's Wind, ink on paper, which just sweeps you side to side... We had to recover by having an espresso hit Schlag at a marble table in the darkened wood-walled Viennese type Sabarsky cafe: of course.
